But ...I don't think it's a dilemma, either. But for other reasons. I think eating meat is paramount for good health (at least for most people, on a practical level), and killing things mindfully is necessary for spiritual health.<br /><br />I agree that the agricultural meat industry is ruinous, environmentally and ethically. But I also think large-scale vegetable agriculture is ruinous for the same reasons. Luckily, there are alternatives for both meat and veggie production that not only enrich the environment, but bring-about more conscious harmony with plants and animals, too.
